Professional Disposition Statement
I believe shaping the young minds of the students within the elementary level heavily involves the relationship between teacher and student, through qualities of
empathy, thoughtfulness, patience and responsibility. I believe that an open mind to old and new ideas in collaborating among educators uses an optimistic attitude and the patience to learn and accept the communication or feelings, ideas, and contributions of others. I believe the ability to relate and be a responsive listener, is one who places an importance on building trust between the teacher and student. As a Christian, I take honesty and loyalty into the classroom and strive to be sensitive to differences, culture, and fairness in the classroom. I believe being a teacher can make all the difference to even just one student. Teaching is an important profession, where everyone learns. |
Teaching Philosophy
I believe that all learners are capable of growth and can achieve individual and community greatness from the roots up. I believe that teaching is a learning process for educators and teachers, that continually cycles through experience, reflection, and relationships. I believe that education is an evolving and collaborative practice that provides the foundation to empower all in involved to make a difference. |
